MEWP WORKSHOP - IPAF SAFE USE OF MEWP
On 28 August 2024 Enotek Engineering have send one of their staff to attend MEWP workshop at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC). The workshop was conducted by International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) in conjunction with MBAM Onebuild exhibition.
Several activities have been covered during the work shop which are :
- Case studies of MEWP/ skylift accident
- Tutorial : Recognizing Hazards on MEWP
- LIVE MEWP Safety Demonstration – How to: Pre Use Inspection, Function Test, “Walk the MEWP”, Emergency Lowering on Scissor Lift & Spider Lift.
At the end of the workshop IPAF demonstrate their new safety features on the machinery and how to safe use of MEWP.
ISO 9001 AND ISO 45001 INTERNAL AUDIT
On 22 and 23 August 2024 ‘Enotek management have conducted ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 internal audit to all related department. The audit is led by MR Nazrul Afiq from HSSE department and been helped by MR Firdaus and MR Syahir from Project department.
The audit have been divided into two parts which is the first day is Site audit and the second day is for office and store audit. The purpose of the audit is to determine the company compliance on ISO 9001 and ISO 45001.
At the end of the ISO internal audit , several loophole on the documentation and few findings at site have been discovered . All Improvement will be made promptly as been advise by auditor.
SAFETY SHARING: MONKEY POX (MPOX)
Mpox is an infectious disease that can cause a painful rash, enlarged lymph nodes, fever, headache, muscle ache, back pain and low energy. Most people fully recover, but some get very sick. Mpox is caused by the monkey pox virus (MPXV). It is an enveloped double-stranded DNA virus of the Orthopoxvirus genus in the Poxviridae family, which includes variola, cowpox, vaccinia and other viruses. There are two distinct clades of the virus: clade I (with subclades lIa and Ib) and clade II (with subclades IIa and IIb).

- Through close contact with infected respiratory tract secretions or skin lesions

- Avoid coming into contact with people who may have been infected
